Is TSA a good career?
Would not recommend TSA as a long term career goal. It is good to be a stepping stone into the federal government but nothing more. TSA Security Politics!
Management is corrupt making it an uneasy, work environment. Nepotism, harassment and unmerited based actions are frequent. DHS lowest paid under Fed rate scale.
Not a Long term job
Low morale, mandatory OT, managers will throw you under the bus, will get written up for getting sick and not coming to work if you do not have sick time, even if you have a dr. Not they count it against. Upper management has little to no regard for employees.
