Great job security and benefits. Moving up the ranks is often political and not worth it. Most people are fine to deal with. Job is fairly flexible as far as the schedule goes and being able to get leave/vacation time. All in all a good place to work.

Fed jobs love military vets. They have the best chance at getting hired. Pay is great for the work you do. Retirement package is great as well as all the other benefits. I'm going on my 31st year as an federal employee and getting ready to retire. I'm only 58. Young enough to find another job and receive a retirement check.
