Under the “U.S. Rescue Plan,” aid has been extended through the summer months. The extension of the Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) program under the Biden Administration’s “American Rescue Plan” to provide an incentive of up to $375 for underage students during the summer months could become permanent. The federal Department of Agriculture (USDA) has not yet indicated a specific date when the additional funds will begin to arrive this summer.
Will I get more PeBT?
Households already receiving SNAP benefits will see the additional P-EBT amount on their existing EBT cards. Households that received P-EBT for School Year 2020-2021 will receive benefits on their existing P-EBT Card. Households that do not have an EBT or P-EBT card will receive a card in the mail with the benefits automatically loaded.
Why haven't I received my PeBT?
Students are eligible to receive P-EBT if they would normally receive free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, but haven’t been receiving those meals during the 2020-21 school year because their school is closed or they are on a fully virtual or hybrid learning schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When will P-EBT be available for 2020?
