Amazing friendly people
Good company to work for. Underpaid, but I felt like they made up for it in other ways. The company really cares about what they do for employees and their benefits.
Great place to work
This is a good place to work no matter your goals. If you are happy staying in one position you will do great. There are opportunities to advance if you're driven to learn and grow as well. However, it does take a long time for those opportunities to arise. Management is supportive and co-workers are all friendly.
Productive and Fun work place
I love my co-workers! The current culture is awesome and each and every one of your team members wanst to see you strive for bigger and better things which is great! My only gripe with the company would be effective compensation. They do tout a competitive wage which is inaccurate at best.
Decent Work Place but would not recommend
I had good co workers but there was very minimal training for this job. There is no advancement. The company is family owned and if you aren't married into the family or close friends of higher management then growth is limited. The pay isn't worth all the work that you must do.
Great Culture, Poor Management
This is a great place to work, if you just like to get your job done and go home. For anyone with a bit more ambitious and/or innovative spirit you will feel like you are suffocating here.
Family Business
NBS has a good company culture. However, its structure is similar to a family run business, which makes it difficult to get ahead if you are not related to someone. This leads to some individuals being in higher positions than they are qualified for.
Awful Management and Poor compensation
Our management has no leadership skills such as communication or integrity. They are rude and have no position being in leadership. Also, you are unable to progress to a higher position and the individuals that are in supervisor positions have been there 5-10 years. So you have to be there for a very long time before any progression.
The latest conversations about Finance
Anyone else hate banking lingo and make fun of it, but as soon as a discussion starts you say "we dont want to boil the ocean here". Fml. Whats your most despised finance phrase?
Contribution Processor Interview
The interview process was great. They were nice and friendly. This made the interview process less stressful, and more comfortable. NBS was very respectful and professional through the interview process. Because I was applying for multiple positions, they had multiple people in the interview so I would not have to come in for multiple interviews.
