How long does an EBT card last?
As long as an EBT card is used at least once every five months, the benefits can stay on the card forever, even if you become ineligible for SNAP. Florida
- Florida ended their emergency allotments in July 2021. In their final waiver, the state wrote, “The current Executive Order will expire June 26, 2021. Florida will utilize July as the transition month for emergency allotments.” As a result, more than 1.6 million households lost access to extra food stamps.
