I have been meditating fairly consistently for around 16 months. I've been using Headspace for the past 30 days. During those 16 months I can't say I've noticed any real benefit. I don't feel any different from my meditations and I don't seem to be improving at all.

This is a great question and a very common one too. First of all, well done on continuing with something on a daily basis for such a long period of time, even though you have felt no benefit whatsoever. That in itself is really quite extraordinary and your motivation must be very strong.
