Great place to work. Work/life balance is the best I have ever encountered. You never know when youre going to be laid off from work though and that is the only downside.

Once you learned that you really were not doing repairs as much as quickly evaluating what components to replace in record time, you could then survive the unrealistic time it takes to do a real repair.

Not a happy place to work
To many chiefs and not a enough Indians . Long working hours. Staff didn’t see to be happy at there jobs. It could be a nice please to work if there all smile .
If more people paid more attention to work then worrying about every body else maybe things could get done
I think that the way to do things is right the first time so that you don’t have to do it again. No one needs to be micro managed or anything. I think everyone pulling there weight makes the wheels go round and round
Ok job but bad work environment
The job itself wasn't bad. I worked prn and they didn't do differential pay even though I was prn. Staff often argued or played on phones instead of working.
High work load with low pay
Working in the mental health field in itself typically means you’ll be getting low pay. Horizon is probably the best non profit to work for in WNY, however it is still a stressful job for counselors due to high patient case loads.
Great sense of purpose
A lot of room for growth, they have many jobs in all areas. If you love helping people this is an excellent opportunity to work with some great people and learn a lot.

Horizon is a great company to work for. There is a lot fo room for advancement and the experience is great for someone who is looking for an entry level job into the psych field
Upper Management needs to do better
I only stayed because I had great co-workers. There was great teamwork with the CNA's I worked with. We were helpful to each other, and the nurses were kind and understanding with us. This wasn't the case in all stations, but it was in the one I usually worked in.

Pay was good. Management didn't give much guidance for certain situations which made it hard to work with the different clients. Aside from your app you didn't know much about what you were walking into.
