When will the new P-EBT benefits be issued?
Benefits will be added to the EBT card of the existing FNS case for eligible children. Benefits for October 2020 through March 2021 will be issued in late May 2021. Following the initial issuance, P-EBT benefits will be issued monthly starting in June for the remaining eligible months of April, May and June 2021.
How long do P-EBT benefits stay in your SNAP account?
The P-EBT benefits will remain in the SNAP account for nine months after the account is no longer used. For example, if the benefits are loaded in May and never used, they will be removed in February.

Aug. 28, 2021, is the deadline for newly eligible families to complete and return the household application for free and reduced-price meals (NSLP form) to their school to be eligible for summer P-EBT.
