Who is eligible to work at Aerotek?
Most Aerotek positions are open to any individual eligible to work in the United States and Canada.
Does Aerotek report my earnings to the IRS?
Aerotek withholds taxes from our contract employees and earnings are reported to the IRS each year. Aerotek employees must complete a W-4 form at the beginning of their employment. Aerotek generally does not hire contract employees on a 1099 basis or by way of corp-to-corp arrangements. In Canada, Aerotek hires contractor workers on a T4 basis.
Did Aerotek negotiate my salary with the company?
I accepted a temporary position at a company with the promise of being hired in 3 months. Three months passed and I was not hired. Seven months passed and I still was not hired. The company I worked for offered me the position but at $2. 00 less per hour. Aerotek did not support me in getting hired and they did not negotiate my salary.

Does aerotek take a cut of your pay?
Aerotek does carry the employment cost during the contract period which is usually 30-40% on top of your salary, and this is transferred to the employer when you are hired.

How many days can you miss with Aerotek?
Access to this is granted after 120 calendar days working there. Up to 40 hours can be transferred to the next callender year if unused. But Aerotek itself has no policy. There isn't a sick leave policy until after you sign up for insurance which is after 90 days.
How long is Aerotek contract?
Most positions are contract to hire, the contract can be for 60, 90, 120 working days. Aerotek also does some direct placement positions, with a position like this, you are an employee of the company on day 1.

Allegis Group 401K Plan Allegis contributes a set amount to your 401k plan in lieu of a matching value. It was okay, not great. No percent company matching contribution. They provide a small flat amount.

They do not offer benefits through their company either. They are very hard to get in touch with about anything.

Pretty good company .They pay pretty good salary and paying on time. Compared to other companies like AAA, Aerotek provide more job secuity and more salary. I would recommend Aerotek.
